Diesel Mechanic:
The trucking and freight industry continues to grow at an increasingly fast pace! IL Truck Group is looking to add an experienced Diesel Mechanic to its talented mechanical team. Specializing in pre-owned semi-trucks, IL Truck Group provides owner-operators across America the means to earn a living with a safe, affordable truck they love to drive. Basic Function:
The purpose of the Diesel Mechanic position is to make mechanical and electrical repairs on Class 8 semi-trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Truck DOT Inspections
- Mechanical repairs – Engine, Transmission, Rear-ends
- 12v Wiring / Lighting Repairs
- Repairing Air Leaks
- Installing Brake Shoes and Drums
- Replacing bolt-on parts (i.e. Steering Pumps, Steering Boxes, AC
- Compressors, Blower Motors)
- Skills Required
- Prior experience working on trucks is a must
- ASE certification preferred
- CDL preferred
- 1-Year Fleet or Dealership Experience

Detailer:
The purpose of the Detailing positions is to ensure our trucks are clean and up to IL Truck group standards. Since customer satisfaction is our number one goal, we are looking for hard-working, self-motivated individuals with strong attention to detail. We would prefer candidates with experience but will train the right individual.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities
- Wipe down and vacuum the interior of the trucks
- Clean interior compartments
- Detail leather
- Clean exterior
- Report anything broken or any safety hazards to management
- Skills Required
- High School graduate/equivalent
- 1-3 Years’ experience in detailing vehicles
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
